FAQ

Where is your office located?

I am in Brentwood.

11911 San Vicente Blvd., Suite 280 Brentwood, CA 90049

Where can I park?
There is paid parking in the building. It costs $2.70 each 15 minutes. There is also 1-hour metered parking on San Vicente Blvd., as well as residential streets in the neighborhood.
What are your office hours?
I am available Monday-Friday, day and evening, by appointment only.
Do you offer a free consultation?
Yes. I offer a free 30-minute consultation either over the phone or via video conferencing. If you are interested in telehealth, then the initial consultation must be via video conferencing.
Do you accept insurance?
I am not on any insurance panels. If you have a PPO policy, I can provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
What happens if I need to cancel?
I have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel prior to 24 hours, there is no charge. If you cancel within 24 hours, you will be charged for a full session.
How long is a typical session?
Individual sessions are 50 minutes. Occasionally, we might schedule a 90-minute session for trauma work. Groups range anywhere from 60 to 90 minutes in length.
Do you work with teens? Adults? Couples?
I work with teens and adults. I also offer group sessions and teach meditation and mindfulness individually and in groups. I do not work with couples.
How often do I need to come into therapy?
In the beginning, I highly recommend weekly sessions, so we can get to know each other and gain traction in meeting your goals. Generally, I find weekly therapy to be the most effective, but we can discuss other scheduling options if need be.
How long will I be in therapy?

I hear this question often, and I wish I had an easy answer.

How long you are in therapy is dependent upon your history, your needs, and your goals. It is my intention that you meet your goals and then go live your life, knowing my door is always open should you ever need me.

Do you have any safety protocols in response to COVID 19?

Yes. I offered telehealth prior to 2020 and will continue to do so long after. As far as in-person sessions, when I resume in-person sessions, I will have specific safety standards in place.

I will be disinfecting the office between clients, require the use of hand sanitizer for both of us, and will maintain a 6- to 10-foot distance during sessions. For more information, please email me with your questions or ask them during our consultation call.
